Meet Erin Reddick of ChatBlackGPT

Despite starting in AI with no technical background, Erin Reddick has created ChatBlackGPT, a GPT that speaks from a culturally aware perspective of black America.

Reddick's attention was immediately caught when AI appeared to be an exciting new tool. Yet, “it did not take more than an hour to start finding articles about how AI is racist."

To combat this, Reddick became a certified ChatGPT Expert and Prompt Engineer. Despite the Black community and tech having a less than inclusive relationship, she was determined to change that with her version of a personalized AI app.

Since its creation, ChatBlackGPT has begun undergoing community testing thanks to the ChatBlackGPT Newsletter Group. It is only gaining more traction in its ability to offer insights and perspectives rooted in Black, African American, and African information sources.
